Shell Price Nav Tool

The Shell Price Nav Tool is a custom-built enterprise web application developed by The Software House for Shell Pakistan. Designed to streamline national fuel price communication, this platform enables Shell to broadcast updated fuel prices across its entire network ? from head office to individual sites ? with unmatched speed and accuracy. The system handles pricing updates across thousands of retail sites, segmented by region, territory, and site, ensuring timely and localized pricing distribution across the country.

We developed a complete territory and hierarchy management system within the platform, enabling the creation and control of regions, territories, site groups, and user roles such as regional managers, territory managers, and site operators. Every user operates within their own defined scope, allowing Shell to maintain structured control over data access, distribution rights, and operational responsibilities ? all with robust audit trails and role-based access.

In addition to price broadcasting and network management, we implemented a powerful MySQL raw query engine directly inside the tool. This allows Shell analysts and managers to execute, store, and rerun complex custom queries against live datasets ? all within a secure, browser-based interface. The Price Nav Tool combines operational control with deep data access, giving Shell a modern and secure system for national price governance and reporting.
